Comments from Past Participants of Various Workshops and Retreats:
"Becky Jackson offers the most profound, most illuminating approach to addictive eating that I've ever seen. It's practical rather than theoretical. The problem is compulsive eating and Becky presents the solution. I've read so many books, had so much therapy, been on every diet. It is through Becky's work that I am learning that it is possible to live in the real world, with real food, real situations and still have stable abstinence and freedom from the pain of this devastating addiction... forever."
"Becky never ceases to amaze me with her wisdom, compassion, and just plain common sense. My life has changed in ways that I never thought possible since working with her. My recovery from my eating addiction has resulted in positive benefits with regard to my work, my relationships, and my overall sense of well-being. I could not have made those changes without Becky and the wonderful and caring support of the phone group.
Comments from Book Camp Reteats
Getting to see moderate living, not just moderate abstinence, role modeled
was a critical piece of the foundation that got poured here
it was like
a recovery boot camp. I had to see it to believe it! Thank you God!
What a week, more than I could have ever dreamed of, never felt so surrendered.
Sharing Becky's home, cats, recovery, meals, and fun
such a great
I will be back!
Away from the busyness of home and work, the days went slowly, (felt like it
was 10 - 15, not 7) giving me time to really work on Step One and on shaping a
"sane and sound" ideal for living. Becky introduced me to my inner family
in a new way
to my adolescent who is now on board as the protector of my
to my young woman who hit the bottom and started me on this path,
a new respect.
I feel so blessed getting to focus on my recovery
and communing with God, and now leaving with a strong foundation and a new aspect
to my relationship with my Higher Power
a wonderful dependency on Him. I
knew God could help with my drug and alcohol sobriety, but I never knew how to
use His help with my food and eating
Now I do!!
